Creating and using Saved Segments

In order for you to know your data, you need to make the habit of checking it regularly. This is an important task, but very time-consuming:

Imagine you want to know your VIP clients that are locals: You go to your instance, select the VIP, and the distances of 10km and 20km. Then next week you repeat the process. And the week after that and the other after that... And this is only one thing you're checking, but I'm betting you make several recurrent searches.

💡 What are Saved Segments exactly?

We want you to work smarter, not harder; using our Saved Segments feature! This feature allows you to save any group of recipients and use them later without loading all the dashboards and components.

How do Saved Segments actually work?

Let's go through it step by step:

Step 1:

Firstly it's important to point out you can save it in Customer OverviewSegment Builder, any Event view, and performer/production views. Just press Export on the upper right corner of your screen, and find Save as Segment.

Step 2:

Here I have saved a few different categories as Saved Segments.  For my next campaign, I want to combine the saved segments "Hard Rock", "Pop", and "Rock" (see image below).

On the Segment Management page, I can quickly select the needed groups and press Send to email to start sending out my next campaign.

How to make sure you don't lose customers:

To include all the newest recipients who purchased a ticket for an event, make sure to have the date range ends after the event's actual date.
Example: XYZ Show has an event date of 7/10/2023.  The end date for the segment should be 7/11/2023.
