Expedite your email marketing and focus on what really matters: engaging your audience and driving results.
- Utilize event information and assets directly from your ticketing platform 📆
- Save time & reduce errors by minimizing manual entry ⏰
When building an Email Campaign, we've made it easy to add consistent event information via Event Blocks. Drag and drop event information directly provided by your ticketing platform. Using the Event Block Designer, customize the way you'd like your blocks to appear and save blocks to use in your future campaigns.
How To:
1. On Step 1 (Setup) of Campaign Builder, select the events that you'd like to include in your campaign. Simply type the name of the event to search and press enter. Click on Connect to select an event. After you've added the events you'd like to feature, click Proceed.
2. Select the Recipients who will recieve this email campaign. Then click Proceed.
3. In the Email Editor (step 3,) drag and drop the Event Block button into your campaign. Depending on your ticketing network, you will see the event image, the title, date, time, and the event description populate automatically. The event block will populate with the first event on the list, you can change the event in the Event Picker in the side panel.
4. For some ticketing networks, Activity Stream doesn’t receive all event elements, so if some aspects do not appear you can easily add or update them in the side panel when the Event Block is selected. Event Blocks can be edited and customized to include the information that you need. (See footnote for more information on inclusions by ticketing system.)
5. If you want to change the Event Block design or create different variants, click on the “Create or Manage Designs” button to go to the editor.
Here you can make changes to any aspect in the event block or click on Event Block Designer to create new event block templates.
5. When your campaign with your new event blocks is ready to go, simply proceed to confirmation and send as usual.
Ticketing Network Specific Inclusions
Some ticketing systems provide Activity Stream with more data than others. See below for information on what aspects are sent by ticketing network. Any item not directly sent from the network can be added manually in the event block editor.
Forward Listings
Exchange knows about all of your upcoming events, even if they haven't sold a ticket.
Ticketing System Image
Images can be pulled into your email design automatically if they have been added to your ticketing system. We will also use the same images in your Activity Stream dashboards when we display information about your productions and events.
Booking Links
When you add a Book Now link to your emails we can automatically populate the correct Book Now URL for your events if your ticketing system sends us the address of your ticketing pages, Support may need to configure information in Exchange before you can start using this feature.
